PalArt Film: Going Home

Following Amnesty International UK’s new, multi-year campaign, exposing Israeli apartheid and seeking to dismantle it, we at PalArt wanted to create an artistic expression in response. We wanted to artistically and visually present to viewers what it means to be stuck at checkpoints, denied entry, have our children imprisoned, and not be able to see our families. The Israeli apartheid regime tries to steal humanity from us by forcing us to wait, denying us entry to our land, and caging us for no reason other than being Palestinian. This film, poetry and music is our expressionist cry for our humanity to be seen, heard, respected, and protected.

With special thanks to all those who helped make this film.
